Thank you for taking the time to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.
An important role of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo (ACGK) is to ensure the health and sustainability of our creative sector, from musicians to dancers, actors to artists, and all the creativity in between. We take great pride in providing resources, opportunities, and support to artists and arts organizations. Through funding, grants, and technical assistance, we make sure that our local artists continue to be seen, heard, encouraged, and celebrated.
We can only make this kind of impact with your generous support. If you act now, an anonymous donor will match your gift dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000, now through July 30, 2023. That means up to $50,000 will continue to support all art forms throughout Kalamazoo. Artist are the storytellers, the conveners, and our community’s healers. It is vital that they be seen, heard, encouraged and celebrated.
Together, we can guarantee that outlets for artistic expression continue to thrive and enrich Kalamazoo County. We appreciate your support.

2021 – 2022 YEAR IN REVIEW
As a smaller organization, the benefits of Face Off Theatre Company being an Arts Council member are limitless. For our grassroots theatre company, what’s most important is exposure and access to resources. We benefit GREATLY from the advertising/marketing options that the Arts Council offers, as well as, access to much-needed grants to continue our work in the community.
The Arts Council provides critical resources – grant writing workshops, convening of local arts leaders, access to artists, advocacy, promotion, concert venues and more. We especially appreciate ACGK’s visionary role in connecting individuals and organizations to help the arts thrive through innovation and partnerships. The Community Box Office and the new outdoor arts venue, Haymarket Plaza, are prime examples of how the Arts Council leads and connects us all. We are proud to be part of the ACGK family and encourage you to join us!
|Public Media Network’s expanded partnership with the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo provides valuable resources to local artists and arts organizations to explore and experiment with media and media tools. This access provides opportunities to connect with audiences in a new way. This partnership builds upon past collaborative efforts and demonstrates the Arts Council’s commitment to helping artists in non-traditional ways.
